01 / Business context

The starting point

Draft narrative: A promoter-led manufacturer was preparing to service a larger order book. Materials and production had to be funded before customer collections arrived. The story should establish how this gap affected day-to-day operations, using the customer’s actual order, inventory and receivables data.

02 / The challenge

Growth had stretched receivables and the existing banking structure no longer reflected the operating cycle.

Draft narrative: The question was whether existing limits matched the peak funding requirement across the operating cycle. Set out the constraints in the existing arrangement, distinguish seasonal pressure from structural needs, and confirm the figures with the finance team.

03 / Our approach

How the work takes shape

Proposed engagement narrative — confirm the activities actually delivered.

  1. Map the operating cycle

Review receivables ageing, inventory holding, supplier terms and limit utilisation. Reconcile the funding requirement to the order book and a cash-flow forecast.

  2. Frame the facility requirement

Separate fund-based and non-fund-based needs, document assumptions and prepare a lender-facing business note with the promoter and finance team.

  3. Coordinate the lender process

Organise documentation and responses to lender queries. Record sanction conditions and distinguish a sanction from funds actually made available.

04 / The change

What the evidence should show

Illustrative values only. These are drafting examples, not customer results or promised outcomes.

Working-capital limit

Starting point · example
₹5 Cr
Reference result · example
₹8 Cr

Evidence to confirm: Existing and revised sanction letters; identify facility components and usable limits.

Process duration

Starting point · example
Complete submission
Reference result · example
8 weeks to sanction

Evidence to confirm: Dated submission and sanction; separately record activation or disbursement.

Draft outcome wording: The revised arrangement provided additional working-capital headroom against the documented operating requirement. Confirm the amount actually available and any conditions still outstanding before describing the effect on production or order fulfilment.
